Structure of Ideas

The possible reason why I have been stuck in my philosophical writings and in my attempts to write in general is a lack of clear structure to frame the ideas in a clear relationship between each other and a clear context of ideas. I have written about this structure of ideas previously but now I shall write about the deeper structure of ideas, that is the actual way to construct ideas and relate ideas to other ideas to form a coherent, consistent, and rational structure of ideas. This applies only to philosophy however, and not necessarily to fictional writings such as Nesiya.

The primary structure of ideas in philosophy is that of support. Ideas support and are supported by other ideas. However, that is not the sole structure which is used. There is the structure of composition, which is how multiple ideas can compose a single idea, just as a group of words form a single word in a definitive relationship. The awareness of the idea structure can help in developing ideas in writing. For example, if one is writing of an apple, one may think of the properties of the apple, the justification of the apple, and other things related to the apple.

The best way to manifest a structure physically is through visual relationships between ideas, in other words, a graphic organizer or a diagram. However, I do not have my drawing pad anymore so the sole method I have is to write. Therefore, the way to develop the structure of ideas is through mindful writing, that is writing with such an awareness that we are aware of what structure we are constructing, and we construct the writing according to the relevant structure in our mind. In our minds, the ideas are chaotic and disorganized, but writing forces us to make it into a linear structure which exists definitely inside the empirical world.

Writing a particular structure repeatedly is necessary to achieve the desired structure of ideas. As in the first edition of the text, the structure might not be the ideal structure, so it must be rewritten over and over again until the best overall structure is revealed to the mind's eye. Upon the finalization of the text, the structure now exists in the world actually and can be uploaded to the internet for public viewing. Until that happens however, the text must be kept offline in the laptop and worked upon until perfected.

The justification of ideas rests upon how an idea is supported by another idea in terms of truth. That is, how the truth of a particular idea is supported by the truth of a more fundamental idea until it reaches the fundamental justifier of all ideas, that which we know as experience. As the philosophical structure is primarily justificatory, we must understand the nature of justification from the perspective of justification. That is, what is justification, in terms of justification itself.

Justification is the relationship between 2 ideas or more, where one or multiple ideas converge upon a single new idea. It is common that the premises, that is the ideas on the first side, are closer to observation than the conclusion, that is the ideas on the second side. So where do all ideas come from in the end? All ideas come from the Experience, that is the Source of Ideas. Experience is often called "observation", but this is just a name to distract from the true nature of the object, that is experience. Justification for us is needed because we are finite in nature, such that we cannot access all things through experience, but some must be accessed through the means of justification.

How does man justify their ideas? The answer is, I don't particularly know. However, I suggest we establish a project, an eternal project, to form the structure of ideas from the simplest ideas, and examine the patterns case by case. That is to let the structure emerge by itself until it is done. That is how I intend to fulfill this project. And I intend to fulfill this to the very end of my life, I do not care how much I am destroyed, but I must hang on to this project, until the Lord reveals Himself and directs myself away from this endeavor.
